testmode_n.key type 1 (all update mode)[edit | edit source]

*** PLEASE DON'T USE THIS KEY IF YOUR UNIT IS ABLE TO BOOT ***

You can use this key to boot into NOR flash EasyRecovery program to update firmware if your unit isn't able to boot correctly.

testmode_n.key type 2 (copy device mode)[edit | edit source]

Data will be copied sector-by-sector from external storage to internal, so you should prepare external storage first. It's impossible to just copy backup image file into USB stick and use this mode to restore your device, you should use special programs like Win32DiskImager or dd to prepare your external storage.

This key is used to remove password protection from internal SD card.
